What We Do Not Accept
Unfortunately, we cannot accept all kinds of waste. You must take these items to specialized facilities for recycling and disposal.
Hazardous waste
including chemicals, oils, paints, and pressurized canisters (such as spray paint)
Biological and medical waste
such as sharps, medications, and hygiene supplies
Broken light bulbs and lamps
Nonfunctioning bulbs are acceptable, but broken glass is too dangerous to handle
Mercury-containing equipment
